The Your New Brand production studio in Guimarães is now available to book by professionals, companies and outside creative teams, offering space, equipment and the technical conditions for photography and video projects.

INTRODUCTION

A space created to produce content for brands is now taking in new projects.

Your New Brand is opening its photography and video studio in Guimarães to the public, letting photographers, videographers, producers, agencies, brands and other professionals use a facility that until now was mainly part of the company’s own creative work.

At about 200 m², the space was designed to host different kinds of production, from portrait and product photography to campaigns, catalogues, digital content and video. A booking also includes access to the equipment available in the studio, technical support, a dressing room, Wi-Fi and parking.

The opening represents a new use for a space already set up for professional production: putting that capacity at the service of the creative and business community as well.

A studio designed for different kinds of production

Not every production needs the same set, lighting or technical configuration.

For that reason, YNB Studios was set up as a multi-purpose space, able to adapt to a portrait session as readily as to a product, editorial or video shoot.

The uses envisaged include commercial and editorial photography, portrait, lookbooks, catalogues, product and e-commerce photography, brand content, reels, music videos and other audiovisual productions. The space also has a continuous white backdrop for productions that need a neutral, consistent image.

This versatility lets each team use the studio according to its own creative process, without being tied to a single setup.

Professional equipment available on site

One of the main features of the model is being able to book not only the space, but also to use the technical equipment already there.

The studio has flash and continuous lighting, including Profoto and Nanlite systems, light modifiers, stands, tripods, backdrops and various production accessories. Equipment for video and content creation is also available, such as a gimbal, teleprompter, wireless microphone and RGB lighting.

For product photography there are specific resources such as a turntable, acrylic surfaces and items for producing packshots and e-commerce content.

The idea is that a team can arrive at the studio with its project and find much of the infrastructure it needs already in place.

From product photography to brand content

Opening the studio also responds to the change in how brands produce their communications.

Today, a campaign rarely results in a single photograph.

The same shoot can yield e-commerce images, social media content, vertical video, editorial photographs, advertising materials or corporate content.

Having different production tools together in one space makes it possible to develop several formats in a single session and to adapt the result to the different channels where a brand communicates.

This integration between disciplines is also what characterises the work of Your New Brand. The company works from Guimarães in areas such as media production, graphic design, web development and 3D modelling, aiming to develop communication projects in a joined-up way.

A space for outside professionals

Opening to the public means that using the studio does not depend on commissioning a full production from YNB.

A photographer can use the space to work with their own client. A brand can organise a product shoot. An agency can produce a campaign with its own team. A videographer can book the studio for a particular production.

The aim is to make professional production infrastructure available flexibly, so that only the time each project needs has to be booked.

Bookings are currently planned from one hour up to a full day, with the equipment listed, technical support, dressing room, WC, Wi-Fi and parking included. The conditions and availability in force can be checked on the studio page.

The studio is in Guimarães, where Your New Brand is based and where the company brings together production, design, development and other creative areas.

Making the space available to outside professionals adds new production capacity to the region and lets companies and creators find locally a facility set up for professional photography and video projects.

More than making square metres available, the intention is to open up a production environment that is already running and equipped to meet different creative needs.
