Generate better. Store intelligently. Consume more independently.

We design solar systems, batteries, energy communities and solar parks to cut costs, improve efficiency and support decarbonisation targets.

JAF.14 | RENEWABLES

The commitment to renewable energy is part of a long view. Through solar generation, storage, energy communities and solar parks, JAF Renováveis drives a more efficient and more sustainable energy transition, close to what consumers, businesses and local areas actually need.

  • From audit to operation, JAF Renováveis covers the full cycle – design, licensing, installation, monitoring and maintenance.
  • Systems sized to each consumer profile – from a single home to an industrial-scale solar park.

Five fronts to speed up the transition.

We size photovoltaic systems for homes, businesses and industrial sites, with consumption analysis and expected payback.

We install systems to store energy, raise self-consumption, manage peak demand and cut exposure to the most expensive periods.

We structure the technical and operational models for sharing energy among municipalities, businesses, residential blocks and local communities.

We develop, build, operate and maintain medium and large-scale solar projects.

We analyse consumption, identify opportunities and roll out phased measures to cut energy use and emissions.

From assessment to maintenance.

01

Assessment

We analyse consumption, the usage profile, the space available and what the client wants to achieve.

02

Design and feasibility

We size the system technically and estimate generation, investment, payback and the grid connection or licensing requirements.

03

Installation

We plan, supply, install, test and commission the system.

04

Monitoring and maintenance

We track performance, carry out preventive maintenance and provide technical support across the working life of the system.

JAF.14 | STORAGE [ ELECNOVA | ESS ]

“Store the energy when there is spare. Use it when it counts.”

Energy available
when it is needed.

Storage lets you use the energy you generate or buy at the moments that pay best. Each system is sized against the consumption profile, the power required, the independence targets and the operating strategy of the client.

Three ways to use the same battery.

01

Raise self-consumption

We store surplus solar for use outside generation hours.

02

Manage peaks and tariffs

We help cut peak demand and use energy more efficiently during the most expensive periods.

03

Continuity and flexibility

We support operations that need more resilience or that combine several energy sources.

Questions about efficiency and solar.

Photovoltaic solar energy is electricity obtained from sunlight through photovoltaic panels installed on homes or business premises. An installation of this kind lets the user generate much of the energy they need, with the resulting saving on the electricity bill.

It is very simple. If in a given month your energy needs are lower than what your installation generates, the excess is fed into the electricity distribution grid. If during that same period you need additional energy, your supplier takes into account the surplus you contributed earlier and compensates you financially for it – under the terms laid down in law as "compensação de excedentes" (surplus compensation).

Yes, they can also be mounted on the ground or on other surfaces on apartment blocks and houses. In every case, JAF Renováveis carries out a detailed technical study of the surface available and of your needs, in order to offer you the most efficient solution in both energy and financial terms.

The right number of panels for your home or business depends mainly on two variables:

  • Your current energy consumption;
  • The surface area you have available for the panels.

JAF Renováveis offers a solution tailored to each individual case. The final return, in terms of energy saved, depends on several factors:

  • Your average energy consumption;
  • Your daily consumption peaks and the hours at which they occur;
  • The level of solar radiation where you are;
  • And some additional factors.

Get in touch and in just a few minutes you will have real-time information on the installation that suits you, your new monthly energy cost and your savings in the short and long term.

We handle all the necessary formalities, including the building permit, so that within a few days you can start enjoying the benefits and the savings of solar self-consumption.

Yes. Solar panels generate enough energy on cloudy days to remain worthwhile, though less than on sunny days. Fortunately, in many parts of Portugal the number of sunny days a year is well above the European average.

Renewables is one strand of the Group's Energy area. When the goal is to buy supply, the answer is energy retail; when it is to share generation between several participants, it is an energy community.
